Sristi Nimodia, Advocate

Sristi Nimodia is an advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa, in independent practice since 2022. She appears before the Bombay and Gauhati High Courts and other courts, tribunals and regulators across India  in civil, criminal, family, property, tax, corporate and securities matters.

From Mathematics to Law

A Mathematics (Honours) graduate of the University of Delhi with actuarial training from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK, she read law at Symbiosis Law School, Pune, took an LL.M. in Investment and Securities Laws from NISM and MNLU Mumbai, and is pursuing a Ph.D. in securities law at NMIMS.

She trained with chambers and firms in Mumbai, New Delhi and Bengaluru on SEBI, insolvency, company law, IP and High Court litigation.

Teaching and Writing

  • She teaches as Visiting Faculty at MNLU Mumbai and the Atlas School of Law, ATLAS SkillTech University, and has taught at NMIMS, Jitendra Chauhan College of Law, SNDT Women's University and the Bodhe Institute of Entrepreneurship.
  • She is the author of Company Law: A Fictionalised Journey from Incorporation to Winding Up (2026).
